Batdorf & The Brother Wolf formed in 2016 and has been rocking crowds ever since.  Featuring the Songwriting of frontman, Michael Batdorf, they have truly formed their own Rock sound (The Allman Brothers meets JJ Cale),  and have sold out iconic Western Venues!  (Knotty Pine/ Mangy Moose)  They have opened for White Denim, Blitzen Trapper, Band of Heathens, Laney Jones and many more. The Wolf has been featured on several main stages.  (Music on Main/ Victor, Idaho)  (JH LIVE/ Jackson Hole, Wy)  They will be releasing a Studio Album (Arms of your Love) and a LIVE Album in 2023!!!

Michael Batdorf (lead vocals/ guitar) has been writing his own Songs since he got his first Guitar at age 12 in Western Pennsylvania.  Early on he was influenced by the Rock sounds of Bands like Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, and Jimi Hendrix.  He graduated with a B.S. in Recording Technology from Middle Tennessee State University.   He has produced 10 solo Albums and is a founding member of One Ton Pig.  He has written several film scores and soundtracks.  Michael lives in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and continues to record his own Music.

Drummer, Ryan Ptasnik, a native of Pinedale, WY, grew up with an exposure to and a wonderment of the natural world. The diverse and dynamic sounds of nature continue to be a primary influence in his music, no matter the genre or role in which he may find himself. His first teachers and influences include Ronnie Bedford and Randy Gelispie, both outstanding musicians and educators primarily rooted in jazz music.  They were pivotal in him earning a master’s degree in jazz studies from Michigan State University. In addition to playing the drums, Ryan has has recently started supporting various artists through recording and producing their songs. Held as a form of invitation and stewardship, the process of being a part of the realization of others’ art is a great honor and joy to him. Ryan sees all this as a path of curiosity and care for humanity. 

Keys player, Mike Patton, began studying classical piano at age 4, and later jazz at age 11. He graduated with his B.A. in Jazz Piano Performance and Composition from Santa Clara University in 2009. He then toured and recorded with funk band Project Bluebook, notably recording Cheetah Speed produced by Alan Evans of Soulive. Later he recorded BBC material for George Fenton. He worked as a pianist, arranger, and music director on cruise ships, working for Holland America, Seabourne, P&O Australia, and Cunard. Mike then settled in Teton Valley Idaho in 2016 and joined the Brotherhood in 2017.
